ARAK:
Hot as a baking oven
Arak is the village/town half the way between In Salah and Tamanrasset, at a low elevation, and terribly hot. Arak is not much to stop for, but the nearby gorges are reported to by great, and very rewarding for its visitors.
Eat and Sleep A nice camp site, with traditional houses, zeriba, houses made out of straw and grass. They serve food, too.
