EL-KALA
Fisher village

El-Kala is one of the most beautiful seaside towns along the Algerian coast. It is however not much of a place organised for tourism, even if there is a beach here. Around the picturesque village is a a forest and mountains climbing slowly up from the town. El-Kala is also offering a couple of good excursions into the inland of Kala National Park, as well as along the coast, to places like Cap Rosa to the east.

Eat and Sleep
Quite adequate on hotels, as well as one hostel a bit out of town. Restaurants are thin, but a couple of simple places serve fairly good food.

Transportation
Buses and taxis bring you to places like Annaba, and the border town of Souq Ahras, if you're going to Tunisia.
