Being a small country, Bahrain ranks well with its four daily newspapers, with circulations between 12,000 and 50,000. Three are in Arabic, while the largest is the English Gulf Daily News. The largest of the Arabic newspapers is Akhbar al-Khaleej.
Bahrain has one TV-station, Bahrain Radio and Television Cropn, which is defined as independent of the government. It transmits in five channels, one of these English.
