ASWAN / Nubia Museum 
The cultural amalgamation is clearly visible, in the respect that very typical Egyptian designs are mixed with the representation of Negroids. Much of Egyptian history would survive in a Nubian context after its final end in Egypt; pyramids were used for tombs deep down in Nubia until the 4th century CE (see Nubian pyramids).There is a wide range of statues throughout history, several well-made miniatures, showing several of the temples built on Nubian soil. There is also a splendid exhibition showing everyday life in Nubia a few decades ago (bottom photo).Admission fee is EŁ20, additional fees for photo and video permits, opening hours 9.00-13.00 and 17.00-21.00.
