The walls have interesting reliefs, like those showing Ramses 3's victories over the Libyans, which can be seen on the inside of the first pylon. The Libyans are recognized by their long robes, sidelocks and beards. Along the outer walls there is a decoration of great interest, showing the Sea People. Perhpaps not often in every history books, Sea People is a great mystery, nobody knows who they were and what became of them. In the early 12th century BCE they had great and disastrous effect on Egyptian society during two wars. The wall relief here at Medinet Habu is one of the very few representations we have of them.
