TANIS:
Temple of Khonsu

Remains of Temple of Khonsu, Tanis, Egypt

The Temple of Khonsu is supposed to be under excavation, and there seem to be fairly much left of it to allow some nice reconstruction. The temple lies slightly northeast of the Temple of Amon, and was built by King Nectanebo 1 of the early 4th century BCE.
