SULTAN /
Excavations going on

Sultan is a place that offers more of promises for the coming years, than actual attractions at the present. There are excavations going on, and much is already exhibited in the local museum. Here things like early Islamic pottery and Byzantine ceramics are presented. Outside the museum two bronze statues, probably represents the greatest present attraction in Sultan.
Later in history, Sultan became an important Fatimid town, and the mosque from that period is still present.

Eat and Sleep
Nothing of hotels and restaurants.

Transportation
There should be buses and taxis passing Sultan, but getting away from Sultan can be a bit difficult. The best is to have your own vehicle.
