Cordoba:
Practicalities

HOTELS and ALTERNATIVES

While Granada suffers from few hotels on offer near the main sights, Cordoba is a different matter. A majority of the city's hotels are located in the area around the Grand Mosque (Mezquita). Some of these have good value for money, others charge too much.
If you are on a budget, a short walk away from this area will reduce costs a bit.
In summary, it is not difficult to find a hotel room in Cordoba, it is not as expensive as you might fear, and they are plentiful with short distance in between.

RESTAURANTS and ALTERNATIVES

Cordoba has many fine restaurants with an OK price level. There is really just one thing to be aware of; the price level for the joints closest to the Grand Mosque are considerably more expensive than the rest of Cordoba's restaurants.
