BLIDETTE:
Still with some of the old

Blidette almost has it! The old village is set on top of a hill which for once, in this part of the country, looks just like a real hill. Most other villages have their formations hidden behind high palm trees.

Of the old village, there is actually some few parts left, some houses and the ubiquitous zawiyya (top photo). Apart from that, the oasis is like many others you have seen before getting here, and there are no dramatic dunes creeping in on the village.
