CHEMTOU:
Aqueduct
Chemtou, Tunisia

Chemtou, Tunisia

Surprisingly, the inhabitants had water transported to their city instead of using the water flowing in the Medjerda river, Tunisia's largest river. Of the aqueducts, only a few parts still stand. A section with four piers is the largest single piece.
