The oasis of Douz is easy to access, and have plenty of nice roads between the gardens. The oasis of Douz is the largest in all of the country, with half a million palm trees. There is a great variety in the agriculture, both to exploit every inch of fertile soil and every drop of water. The variety is also a reflection of the times when Douz in its isolation had to be self-sufficient for most needs.
