Douz is a popular destination, but the local architecture is not really daring. While using standard governmental house models, there are some attempts of creating some local identity. The market square is a strange part of this, baked in the sun all day. But it really isn't used before evenings when Douz in general comes alive. Douz has virtually nothing left of its traditional quarters.
