The remains of Medeina's theatre doesn't easily reveal its original purpose. Beyond the two large parts of the outer walls, little else is in place. Stones lie all around, with grass growing wild in between.
The lower photo contains important information, as this is the passageway vital to the functions of a Roman theatre, leading down into the underground chambers where people and animals could be held.
