This is problematic, as there are no direct connections with bus or shared taxis between Sidi Daoud and nearby destinations. But the distance between Sidi Daoud and the main road is only 2 km, and here you can wait for a bus to pass. But don't be surprised if you have to wait for some hours.
The alternative is clear: try hitching with normal cars.
IMPORTANT
In May, the Mantanza – the Tuna slaugheter – takes place. Many areas around the harbour may be closed off, and you're officially not allowed to enter any of the boats. If you would like to get as close a view as possible, you will have to ask for permission from the port authorities.
