The fortified mosque  Coming through the main gate, you face the prayer hall. This is off limits for non-Muslims. Few old major mosques have seen fewer alterations than the main mosque of Sousse. The result is, that compared to other Tunisian mosques, it appears to be incomplete. Because, where is the tall minaret?
