A bit out of town, the best beaches for visitors to Antalya are found. To the southeast lies Lara (photo), 12 km from city centre. It feels like a town set apart from Antalya really. Lara has a wide selection of hotels and restaurants. As a matter of fact, many visitors come to Lara, and visits Antalya during the day or in the evening.
To the west is Konyaatli, 4 km west of city centre. This is slightly more sophisticated than Lara.
